Discovery Guard

We build infrastructure discovery software.

Discovery Guard develops Censo, an asset discovery and baseline system for organisations that need an accurate, continuously updated view of what runs on their network.

One company, one product

We do not sell consultancy by the hour or bespoke projects. We build a single product and maintain it over time, guided by the organisations that run it every day.

Product development

One product, maintained and released continuously, rather than several half-supported solutions.

Network engineering

Discovery protocols, production equipment, mixed IT and OT environments. The product comes from the field, not from a specification.

Data integrity

Measured data and missing data are not the same thing. Treating them alike is the fastest way to lose the trust of the people who rely on them.

OUR SOLUTION

Censo

Censo maintains a continuous inventory of your infrastructure: what is deployed, how it is connected, what it exposes, and how it measures against regulatory requirements — with two sentinels, Dobermann and Honeypot, watching what an inventory alone cannot see.

  • Automated infrastructure inventory, with no inbound ports to open
  • Dependencies and topology reconstructed from measured data
  • Host security posture and NIS2 and DORA controls on the same dataset
  • Controls that could not be measured are declared, not counted as compliant
  • Active defence and a full audit trail: who signed in, and who changed what

Measured data and missing data are not the same thing.

Every finding carries its evidence. Every limit of a collection run is recorded. Coverage figures are never inflated with data we could not read.

This costs a few percentage points on a slide. In exchange, the numbers hold up to the first verification, which is the only moment that matters.

Discovery Guard

Discovery Guard is a software development company built around a specific problem: organisations do not know precisely what runs on their network, and every decision taken on that uncertainty costs either time or security.

Censo follows from that, and so does the way we work: measure first, state what was measured, declare what was not.

Run a trial on a single site

One probe on a machine in your network and read-only SNMP credentials are enough to produce the real inventory of that site.
